TanHolidngs’ JP Run Calls for Community Superheroes

To be called a superhero, one must exude supernatural powers unknown to humanity. In the case of the JP Run 2019, it only requires a cape and a mask to become a superhero. Held every year to commemorate the passing of a former TanHoldings Executive, John “JP” Pangelian, who died of cancer, JP Run aims to help the Marianas March Against Cancer (MMAC), the fundraising arm of Commonwealth Cancer Association (CCA), gather participants from the community to support the activities of CCA.

“We are all heroes for supporting a good cause—the MMAC and CCA. We are inviting everyone to come out and join the JP Hero Run,” says TanHoldings Community Relations director Carli Sablan.

This year, the JP Run will be held on May 18, 2019 at the Garapan Fishing Base. Participants will receive an event T-shirt plus cape and mask and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a round-trip ticket to Manila.
