In 1972, Dr. Tan Siu Lin and his family moved to Guam to engage in shipping, real estate and movie distribution businesses. The strong entrepreneurial spirit of the family business successfully developed into Tan Holdings Corporation, a diverse holding company headquartered in the Western Pacific, which prides itself on its strong vision and values.
The role of Tan Holdings’ Matriarch, Lam Pek Kim, has always been one of quite grace and discipline. In the early years when the Tan siblings were youngsters, LPK, as she is fondly called, had always been a supportive wife to TSL and also a loving yet strict mother to the brood. Her untiring support to TSL and her children in their endeavors have made her their unheralded hero.
