TSL Foundation and USO Launch First “Movie in the Park” on Saipan

Expecting a night of excitement and fun, a zealous crowd comprised of 500 participants gathered at the American Memorial Park on July 8 for a free-admissions movie screening of the film “Despicable Me”.

This recently-held “movie in the park” experience, the first time on the island, was made possible through the collaboration of the United Services Organization (USO) and the Tan Siu Lin Foundation.

USO is a private, nonprofit organization that provides morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military, with programs in 140 centers worldwide.

Lt. Gov Eloy Inos and his grandchildren, Tan Holdings President Jerry Tan, USO Director Leigh Graham and USO Center Operations Manager Vic Tano were all in attendance during the event to make some short remarks to the crowd.
