TanHoldings Honors Heroes on the 23rd Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks

As part of the 23rd anniversary commemoration of the September 11 attacks, TanHoldings President and CEO Jerry Tan joined Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang at the Governor’s Office conference room on Capitol Hill, where September was officially proclaimed as “We Will Never Forget: Field of Heroes Month.” This occasion not only honored the memory of those who perished on 9/11 but also recognized the invaluable contributions of first responders, military personnel, healthcare workers, and community heroes who continue to safeguard the Northern Mariana Islands.

Tan, who has been instrumental in supporting the “We Will Never Forget: Field of Heroes Month” since 2016, emphasized the ongoing importance of remembering the sacrifices made by countless individuals to protect and serve the nation. The event, organized by the Tan Siu Lin Foundation in collaboration with local government and community partners, will feature U.S. flags displayed at various parks across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. These flags, representing courage and vigilance, serve as a tribute to those who have fallen and those who continue to stand as protectors of peace and safety in the CNMI. The community is invited to participate in the September 11 ceremonies, which include a freedom walk on Saipan, starting from the court of honor at American Memorial Park.
