300 participants remembered and celebrated the memories of John “JP” Pangelinan, former Tan Holdings executive and Saipan Tribune publisher, last February 23 at the 5th JP Walk hosted by Tan Holdings.
Family, friends, former colleagues, co-workers and other community members gathered across the JP Center along Beach Road as early as 5 a.m. to begin the three-mile walkathon. The event served as both a tribute and a fundraiser that raised more than $2,000.
John Pangelinan died at the age of 70 after his long battle with lung cancer. Since his death, Tan Holdings has hosted the JP Walk in his honor.
