The Philippine TV program I-Witness featured the Marianas on its April 23 episode. GMA7 Network’s filming crew visited Saipan, Tinian and Rota on March 22-30 to film two episodes – one highlighting the Marianas as a world-class eco-and sports tourism destination and the other retracing the remnants of World War II’s largest operational air base on Tinian – expected to air on August.
Such feature is expected to reach millions of viewers in the Philippines and around the world – a tremendous exposure granting an opportunity for them to showcase Marianas as a world-class destination, resulting to desired outcomes to Asia-Pacific business and tourism.
