A.M. Best Co., a nationally-recognized ratings agency, has laid out its verdict: The CIC group, comprised of CIC Guam and CIC Saipa,n are on stable grounds.
In its most recent update, the ratings expert has recently affirmed that the group has good financial foundation. For both CIC Guam and CIC Saipan, the financial strength rating that A.M. Best Co. pronounced was B+ (Good) while the issuer credit rating it declared was bbb.
This result was based on the investment strategies used by the group as well as their “willingness to reduce high expenditures as they share the same management team.” The rating was also reflective of the financial support that the group’s parent company, Tan Holdings Corporation, has extended for the CIC surplus expansion.
