BlueBay Petroleum donated $10,000 to the Palau Conservation Society (PCS) Corporate Partners for Conservation (CPC) this past Monday, June 8, 2015.

Bluebay Petroleum’s yearly donation shows its deep commitment to Palau’s beauty and natural resources, and its recognition of the efforts of the Palau Conservation Society (PCS) to continuously protect Palau’s ecosystems and natural environment, and in educating the community at-large.

Ralph Moses, BlueBay General Manager said, “In our line of business, we have this greater obligation to be an integral part of such a cause. And we take seriously our stake in the welfare of Palau’s ecosystems and natural environment.” “There are less and less places in the world that can still boast of natural beauty such as that of Palau, and we must all be stewards for our environment and protect what we have,” he added.

Members of the CPC program show their support in many forms above and beyond their direct financial contributions. Their contributions enable PCS to fund programs quickly and respond to community needs with a high degree of independence.

Mario Katosang, Director for the Palau Conservation Society said, “We are grateful to companies like BlueBay Petroleum, who truly support our advocacy and reach out to the community in different ways. My staff and I are sincerely thankful to BlueBay for their help.” He added that, “It is imperative for everyone, whether as a business or individually, to commit themselves to protecting what is left of our wildlife and natural resources. Every little effort goes a long way.”
