Team members from Tan Holdings made their voices heard in raising awareness about cervical cancer on January 19 as an estimated 60 members from the group joined the third cervical cancer awareness walk this month.
Each of the participants was provided with healthy refreshments and specially-designed ribbon pins.
The Cervical Cancer Awareness Walk was organized by the Department of Public Health Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. Its primary objective was to celebrate the Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.
Program coordinator Joanne Ogo acknowledged Tan Holdings for its participation in the efforts to raise awareness about cervical cancer in the community.
In response, Tan Holdings Senior VP Eli Arago said that “Volunteerism is one of the values of Tan Holdings that we want our teammembers to practice.”
