In celebration of Environmental Awareness Month, DQ Saipan, in cooperation with Joeten Stores, a local grocery chain and the environmental NGO, MINA recently launched the “I Choose To ReUse – Plastic Bag Challenge.
For every reusable bag a customer uses, he or she will be given a chance to win an eco bag filled with $100 worth of DQ products.
DQ Saipan General Manager Max Kretzers said “This is a simple promo whose main goal is to encourage our consumers to use eco-friendly bags instead of plastic, which can last for a thousand years and wreak havoc on the environment and wildlife.
JoeTen’s 4 stores on Saipan are participating in this promo, along with the environmental group MINA. Draws are held every Tuesday afternoon, with two winners per week, and six more winners for the month of April.
Kretzers added, “All businesses in Saipan need to help out in whatever way they can, in protecting our environment. Saipan is a beautiful island, but without everyone’s participation in a sustainable effort to keep it clean, it will lose its natural beauty.”
