After all the efforts exerted in constructing a library at the Palau Community College (PCC), the Tan Siu Lin Library was finally opened last April 6.
The opening of the Tan Siu Lin Library was held at the Assembly Hall of the PCC. It was graced by the presence of Chairman Tan Siu Lin himself. Chairman Tan Siu Lin initiated the ribbon-cutting rites during the ceremony. Along with PCC Board of Trustees Chairperson Bilung Gloria Salii and President Johnson Toribiong of Palau, Chairman Tan Siu Lin was also among the guest speakers at the ceremony.
Aside from Chairman Tan Siu Lin, Tan Holdings President Jerry Tan and Tan Holdings EVP George Chiu were also in Palau to attend the ceremony.
Before the ceremony was concluded, Toribiong handed over a boat paddle to Chairman Tan Siu Lin as a token of appreciation for all his contributions to the Tan Siu Lin Library in PCC. The paddle was handcrafted by PCC President Dr. Patrick Tellei.
