Tan Holdings donates $10,000 to Red Cross

The corporation, through its president, Jerry Tan, recently turned over $5,000 in cash and $5,000 worth of in-kind donations from its various groups of companies to the NMI Chapter.

“We are grateful to Jerry Tan and his team for their many years of support for the Red Cross here in the CNMI,” said John D. Guerrero, Club 200 co-chair and vice chair of the board of directors. “Our mission of helping those in need is important to their company and we are proud to have their annual support.”

“Despite difficult economic times, Tan Holdings places a high priority on supporting local non-profits that are helping to improve life in the Northern Mariana Islands,” the corporation said in a statement. “The company is deeply committed to its employees and social responsibility, and has maintained a philosophy of making continuous improvements, particularly in technology, human resources.”

Tan Holdings Corp. is a diverse holding company headquartered on Saipan. It is the largest private employer in the CNMI and is led by a highly committed management team headed by Tan.

The company is involved in a wide variety of industries that are vital to the island economies of the Western Pacific and include airlines, amusement, fast food, fishing, ground handling services, hotels, information technology, insurance, logistics, publishing, real estate and travel. (ARC)
