51 Volunteers including 4 children from Fiesta Resort & Spa joined the 2016 International Coastal Clean-up Day September 17, 2016. Volunteers picked up trash along the coast of Makaka Beach. A total of 25 bags of trash and debris has been collected by the team. Keeping the ocean healthy wasn’t the only goal that day, volunteers also had to take care of their bodies to keep them strong and healthy. After the clean-up, volunteers exercised callisthenics to maintain a fit physique to better protect the environment.
