SAIPAN, MARIANA ISLANDS. TAN HOLDINGS Executive Vice President Jerry Tan has always had a passion for sports ever since his youth. And to this very day, that passion burns bright as he was elected as the president of Northern Mariana Islands Football (soccer) Association (NMIFA). Tan received his title during the first NMIFA Board of Directors meeting last June 6, 2005.

Among Tan's first few undertakings as the organization's president was attending the East Asian Football Championship 2005 finals in Daejeon, Korea, upon the invitation of Dr. Chung Mong Joon, president of East Asian Football Association. Taking place last July 31 to August 7, Tan attended the games accompanied by Richard Lai. president of the Guam Football Association.
