CTSI Industrial Center to Serve as Regional Hub

GUAM - Construction on a new 42,200 square foot distribution complex officially got underway at the end of February for CTSI Logistics. To be known as the "CTSI Industrial Center", the facility will include three buildings and will serve as the future CTSI Guam office/warehouse. The center is anticipated to be ready for occupancy by first week of January 2005.

With Guam as a gateway and crossroad to countries in Asia Pacific and the United States, CTSI Guam is expected to occupy a role as logistics operations hub to support businesses in the region. Guam facilitates entry to and from major Asian markets by being only three to four and a half hours flying time to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines.

The center will be fully automated with the CTSI Inventory Management System. Building 1 will feature an overhang loading dock, six stainless steel roll-up doors and a 13 container reefer-ready loading dock. The 14,000 square foot Building 2 will be subdivided into seven warehouse units that will be available for lease.

"This new warehouse will allow us to serve our customers better and will provide an improved work environment for our team," said Jerry Tan. "This is a great location for CTSI Logistics which promises to accommodate our growth in the future.
