Century Tours successfully organized the first national-scale golf tournament from China on Saipan from March 24-26 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort. Century Tours, Golf Tour China, Teeaway Golf, and Laolao Bay Golf Resort jointly promoted this event in China with a large scale advertising campaign. Over 60 golf club executives and managers from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou took part in the “Top Play in Pacific” Tournament, and said they would all return in the hopes of another golf tournament in the future.

This event has greatly attracted the attention of Chinese golf players to the Island of Saipan as a premiere golfing destination. Laolao Bay contributed one Nike golf set and $100,000 for the hole in one prize, in addition to its stunning views, dramatic scenery, and challenging courses to the participants.
