THE TAN HOLDINGS Foundation recently donated $600 to the World Series-bound CNMI Senior League All-Stars and the Asia-Pacific champions reciprocated that act of kindness by cleaning up the grounds at Saipan Grand Hotel.

Team manager Juan I. Tenorio thanked the foundation for the donation and said the money would be spent for the team's meal expenses. “We really appreciate this support from Tan Holdings. The money will be used to buy food for the trip,” he said.

This is the second time that the CNMI will be seeing action in the World Series.   The CNMI Senior League All-Stars left Saipan last Aug. 9 for a series of connecting flights en route to Portlan, Maine.

The CNMI is grouped in Pool A together with host Maine, Canada, South, and West. They will face the champion of the West region, which is still being played as of press time.
